4-Piece 100% Cotton-Long Staple Sheet Set

I SWEAR to you (and everyone in my household can attest to this) that I have been on the hunt for the "right" cotton sheets for almost a year. The moment I started noticing a tear in my old "favorite" sheets (i.e., a random TJ Maxx set I could never find anywhere), I knew I was in trouble, because I know what I want in my sheets and apparently this is impossible to find. I don't think I'm asking for much - I want cotton (none of those thin microfiber things) and I want it to be really soft. That's it. I'm not looking for something elusive or anything that should be hard to produce. But - apparently it's REALLY hard. I asked for a really expensive set of sheets for Christmas, certain that these would do the trick. They did not (they were bamboo, by the way, and apparently that's not for me either - they're soft, but way too thin and clingy) and I returned them. I tried another well-known brand, and I tried their brushed cotton set of sheets. I was very hopeful, but in the end, the "brushed cotton" effect just made them feel like flannel and that is NOT what I'm going for. So when someone I follow on social media (an author I trust on all things books and lifestyle) said she'd replaced ALL the sheets in her house with these.... I figured I'd give them a shot.
